Hall Place

Bourne Road,
Kent, DA5 1PQ

Over 40 exhibitors and workshops can be seen at this popular wedding venue. All brides will receive a goody bag and show programme! There will be some great competitions, prizes and show offers on the day, so make sure you check The Best Brides Facebook Page for updates. Hall Place is a fine Grade I listed country house built in 1537. The house boasts a panelled Tudor Great Hall, overlooked by a minstrel?s gallery, and various period rooms. The 17th century additions and improvements by Sir Robert Austen include a vaulted Long Gallery and splendid Great Chamber with a fine plaster ceiling. At the heart of the historic house the Great Hall can accommodate up to 100 wedding guests.

Hall Place also makes the perfect setting for your wedding reception. The Great Hall can accommodate up to 100 people for a sit down meal, rising to 140 for an evening party. The hire allows you exclusive use of the Great Hall and the adjacent Tudor Kitchen which provide an ideal area for the evening?s entertainment.Follow your ceremony by leading your guests out in to the private gardens from the Great Hall or out on to the topiary lawn to capture that special moment. For a more intimate service of up to 40 the Great Chamber is a lovely setting. Newly restored the Great Chamber has a magnificent 17th century plaster ceiling. Together with the adjoining Long Gallery it is a wonderful venue for a smaller wedding. The views over the topiary and the formal gardens from the great bay window provide a timeless and elegant backdrop.
